JEFF RUNQUIST 1448 RED BLEND 750ML @Deerfoot Meadows [1019556]

1448 has a dark rich color that borders on inky. The hues are bright and youthful, almost florescent. The aroma of the wine is centered on dense ripe blackberry, plum, and cassis. The bouquet is wonderfully rich with loads of chocolately oak, mocha and butterscotch. The flavors are savory and succulent, with dark blue black fruits and plenty of creamy oak and caramel. While this wine has more structure than previous vintages, the tannins are mature and well integrated. The finish is long and lingers well.
