The 2019 Blankiet Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Proprietary Red is STRAIGHT-UP incredible, with medium to full-bodied aromas and flavors of cassis, graphite, lead pencil shavings, and tobacco leaf. It tastes like a great vintage of Chateau Lafite with its elegance and purity, and it builds slowly onnteh palate, with ripe tannins, a seamless mouthfeel, and a great finish. It's not massive by any means but is just pure class. It should have 30yrs of longevity. The blend is 83.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 4% Cab Franc, and the balance Petit Verdot that saw 80% new French oak.
